2022 Jeep Cherokee configurations

There are four trim levels to choose from, and the availability of some features and packages depends on which trim you choose. Standard features across all trims include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and some driver assistance features like lane-keeping assist, emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring.
Here are your options for trim levels:
  • X (MSRP $36,490): The base level trim starts you off with features like power-adjustable seats, 17-inch wheels, a six-speaker sound system, and standard driver assistance aids.
  • Latitude Lux
(MSRP $36,490): This trim level adds touches like leather upholstery and a power liftgate.
  • Trailhawk
(MSRP $39,140): This trim level is the most off-road-ready with all-terrain tires, an underbody skid plate, and an upgraded off-road suspension.
  • Limited
(MSRP $40,940): The most luxurious trim level features 18-inch wheels, memory settings for the driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, and a nine-speaker audio system.
Four-wheel drive and automatic transmission are the only options available for all trims except the Latitude Lux, which is available with front-wheel drive. There are two possible engines, and their availability depends on trim level.
  • 3.2-liter V6 engine with 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque (standard on all trims)
  • 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque (available only on the X and Trailhawk trims for an additional $695)
There are plenty of packages and options. Like the engines, their availability depends on trim. Here are a few key trims and some details about each.
  • Trailer Tow Group ($1,095, available on X and Trailhawk trims) maximizes your towing capacity
  • Sun and Sound Group ($2,395, available on X and Latitude Lux trims) upgrades the sound system and adds a panoramic sunroof
  • Sun, Sound, and Navigation Group ($3,295, Trailhawk only) adds a host of navigation aids
  • Elite Group ($2,095, Limited only) adds 19-inch wheels, aesthetic upgrades, and a passel of creature comforts
Needless to say, there are a lot of ways to configure your Cherokee. Let’s take a closer look at a few possible combinations.
