Even the standard XT5 is a pretty luxurious ride, with awesome standard features like 18-inch alloy wheels, HD rearview camera, forward collision detection with automatic braking, eight-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and eight-speaker Bose sound system
. Let’s take a closer look at your trim level and upgrade package options:
Cadillac XT5 AWD Luxury
As the most basic XT5 model, the AWD Luxury
has the second-lowest starting MSRP at $45,995. This base model can also be ordered with the $3,995 Onyx Package, which adds blacked-out exterior trim and 20-inch black alloy wheels, or, for a similar price, the Radiant Package, which does everything in chrome instead.
This trim has a 2.0 L four-cylinder engine capable of producing 235 horsepower
and a nine-speed automatic transmission. RECOMMENDEDNo spam or unwanted phone calls · No long forms
Cadillac XT5 AWD Premium Luxury
The next highest trim option is the AWD Premium Luxury
, starting at $50,795 MSRP. Cadillac’s Premium Luxury and Sport trims have access to the $4,850 Platinum Package, which adds lots of features designed to enhance your driving experience, including:
A leather-wrapped instrument panel, console, and door trim
This vehicle has a 2.0 L four-cylinder engine capable of producing 235 horsepower, much like the other trim options. The AWD Premium Luxury also comes equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission. In this Premium Luxury trim level, however, you can also pay to upgrade your powertrain in order to get a 3.6 L V6 engine instead.
Some of the other upgrade options for the XT5 Premium Luxury include:
The Technology Package: $2,275. This includes an eight-inch display in the instrument cluster, a washer for the rear camera, surround-view camera system, rear pedestrian alerts, and an automatic parking assist.
The Driver Assist Package: $1,300. This adds adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, reverse automatic braking, and automatic seat belt-tightening. This can also lower your Cadillac car insurance costs
by introducing new safety features.
Cadillac XT5 AWD Sport
The AWD Sport is certainly quite a bit different from the previously listed XT5 models, which is reflected in its starting MSRP of $55,895.
This model can be upgraded with any of the packages available for the AWD Luxury or AWD Premium Luxury models, although the Platinum Package only costs $3,650 for this model since some of the upgrades (like the performance suspension) already come standard in the XT5 Sport.
One major upgrade to the standard XT5 in this trim is the engine. The AWD Sport comes with a more powerful 3.6 L V6 engine that is capable of producing 310 horsepower. This trim level is also equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Cadillac XT5 FWD Luxury
The XT5 FWD Luxury has the lowest starting MSRP of $43,995 due largely to the fact that it is front-wheel drive (FWD) rather than all-wheel drive (AWD).
This model has the same upgrade options as the AWD Luxury model. The only real difference between the FWD and AWD Luxury models is the drivetrain.
The FWD Luxury still comes with the standard 2.0 L four-cylinder engine capable of producing 235 horsepower and nine-speed automatic transmission, so you can still expect good performance from this vehicle.
Cadillac XT5 FWD Premium Luxury
The FWD Premium Luxury is very similar to the FWD Luxury but, fittingly for its slightly higher starting MSRP of $48,795, the Premium Luxury model offers a few features that aren’t available in other trims.
This trim level has the same upgrade options as the AWD Premium Luxury trim level except, as the name suggests, the FWD Premium Luxury has a front-wheel drive drivetrain rather than the all-wheel drive drivetrain in the AWD model.
Still, the FWD Premium Luxury trim comes with the standard 2.0 L four-cylinder engine capable of producing 235 horsepower and nine-speed automatic transmission. If you’re willing to pay a little extra, however, you may choose to upgrade your powertrain to the 3.6 L V6 engine found in the AWD Sport model for a starting MSRP of $49,720.
