2021 Lincoln Aviator configurations
The 2021 Lincoln Aviator offered both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive
powertrains. The rear-wheel drive came standard on the Base and Reserve trims, but it was not available on the three higher trims—the Grand Touring, Black Label, and Grand Touring Black Label. All Aviators come with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission.
The Base, Reserve, and Black Label come equipped with the following engine:
Turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 400 horsepower
and 415 pound-feet of torque
The Grand Touring and Grand Touring Black Label trims are both offered as plug-in hybrid vehicles only. They sport the following:
Turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine paired with an 100-hp 13.6 kWh electric motor with 494 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, and features 21 miles of all-electric range
All Aviators come with the following standard driver-assist technology:
Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert
Forward collision mitigation
All Aviators are positively luxurious, featuring sumptuous leather upholstery, lots of technology features, plenty of driver-assist technology, and a body that easily swallows bumps to ensure an ultra-quiet cabin. The Aviator has plenty of power, but it can lumber around turns, and the brakes are a bit on the soft side.
Lincoln Aviator Standard
Even if it’s the “standard” Aviator, don’t be fooled into thinking the base trim is lacking. It comes with plenty of features, including the option of a rear-wheel or all-wheel drive powertrain, and an array of standard technology features and safety tech. Here’s what you get with the Aviator Standard:
Turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine boasting 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque
Rear-wheel drive (all-wheel drive is optional)
Keyless ignition and push-button start
50/50-split power-folding third-row seat
Digital instrument cluster
10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen

Lincoln Aviator Reserve
Lincoln takes things up a notch with the popular Reserve trim. It offers even more features, along with a series of optional packages (more on those below). Here’s what comes standard on the Reserve trim:

Adaptive suspension for better ride comfort and handling (it needs 22-inch wheels or all-wheel drive)
Power-adjustable steering wheel
Second-row captain's chairs (a bench seat is optional if you prefer it)
Multi-zone automatic climate control system
Ambient interior lighting
360-degree surround-view camera
As mentioned, the Reserve trim also comes with the option of adding a series of packages to take this ride to the next level.

The Black Label Aviator adds even more luxury and features that come standard, but it is available in all-wheel drive only. It includes the following:
Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus package
Access to Lincoln's Black Label services—this includes premium maintenance offerings, pickup and delivery for service, and a points program redeemable for exclusive deals and offers
Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring (plug-in hybrid)
As the first plug-in hybrid option for the Aviator, the Grand Touring augments its 3.0-liter gas engine with a 100 horsepower, 13.6 kWh electric motor that gives this trim a total output of 494 horsepower. It is equipped with everything you’ll find on the Reserve trim, along with:
Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring Black Label (plug-in hybrid)
The Big Kahuna of Aviator trim lines, the Grand Touring Black Label comes with everything the Black Label has as standard—it epitomizes the term full loaded.
