The 2021 Jeep Gladiator interior is anything but bare-bones and old-school. With loads of passenger and cargo space, top-notch technology, and advanced driver safety aids, the Gladiator offers upscale and modern comfort for off-roading adventures.
Since the first Jeep was released, its exterior style hasn’t changed much—boxy, rugged, and ready to tackle the most challenging terrains. The 2021 Gladiator took a slightly different direction, mixing classic features with a new pickup-style body. The result? 2021 Jeep Gladiator interior

Capable, powerful, and rugged are probably what comes to mind when you think of Jeep. You’re not wrong! They’re certainly some of the toughest all-terrain vehicles on the market—but when you step inside the Jeep Gladiator, you get an unexpected but perfect blend of modern convenience and old-school rugged charm.
Whether you’re looking for only basics with the Gladiator Sport or the fully-loaded off-road ready Mojave, the 2021 Gladiator’s interior doesn’t disappoint. That said, the entry-level Gladiator starts at $36,555 and comes well-equipped. If you want all the bells and whistles, be prepared to break out your checkbook.
Let’s break down what you’re getting inside the 2021 Jeep Gladiator.

Seating

Regardless of what trim level you choose for the Gladiator, you’re getting the standard Jeep setup: a 60/40 rear-folding bench and seats for up to five passengers. Cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats are standard, but upgrading to a higher trim level can unlock leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. The seats can easily be stowed and secured for treacherous off-road conditions.
Upgrading to a Willys Sport, Sport S, Willys, or 80th Anniversary Edition package offers various exterior aesthetic touches and upgrades to the Jeep's interior tech. Most of the features provided in the packages come standard on the Overland, including:
  • Power windows
  • Power door and tailgate locks
  • Heated power mirrors
  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror
  • 7-inch central display with upgraded infotainment interface
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility
  • Two USB ports
  • Automatic climate control
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel

Tech

Technology may not be the Gladiator’s strong point, but its tech features are user-friendly, responsive, and easy to reach. All models come standard with a touchscreen and passengers in the front seat have access to two USBs and one USB-C port. Unfortunately, only the 7.0- and 8.4-inch displays come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 115-volt outlet is optional.
Some of the most popular standard features on the Gladiator include:
  • Cruise control
  • Eight-speaker audio system
  • 5-inch central display
  • One USB port and voice control capability
It’s clear that Jeep keeps tech at the basics. If you want the most desirable features, you’ll have to pay an additional cost. The good news is that, regardless of trim level, they can be added as a standalone item or from a package. Some upgrades include:
  • Auxiliary switch group for wiring up to four electrical devices
  • LED headlights
  • Larger 8.4-inch infotainment display
  • Premium Alpine sound system
  • Driver safety aids: Blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation

Storage

Practicality is where the Jeep excels. You get a full-size 5-foot bed (like a
Wrangler
!) and a tailgate that can be secured in open, closed, or midway positions that’s perfect for transporting longer items like 4 x 8 sheets of plywood. You also get 35.5 cubic feet of storage space, which is less cargo room than a mid-size pickup but comes with ingenious storage options like space underneath the rear seats.

Style

Although the Gladiator is a new specimen, it’s a Wrangler at heart—and the style is retro Wrangler to a tee.
The Gladiator’s interior is upscale but ultra-durable thanks to several hard- and soft-touch plastics. And as the only open-air pickup on the market, you have the option between a standard soft top or optional hardtop roof—both of which are easy to pop off and on, for days you want to feel the wind through your hair. Plus, with removable doors and a fold-down windshield, you have access to a new level of thrill that can only be found on the Gladiator.
Keep in mind that if you’re looking for luxury finishes and high-end features, the Gladiator probably isn’t going to cut it—you’d likely be better off with one of the Jeep SUVs.

This app is great, but the customer service is even better! Not to mention convenient! My husband and I got the lowest rate (much lower than the rates I was finding online through my own searches), quickly, and pretty much all through text message! Thank you so much for a hassle free experience👍
