2021 Infiniti Q60 Interior Review

Even with a slightly dated interior look, the 2021 Infiniti Q60 is a winner as an affordable luxury coupe. Read more here!

background
The 2021 Infiniti Q60’s daring and stylish exterior design overshadows its merely adequate interior, which suffers from outdated technology and the cabin’s cramped seating configuration.
Driving the Infiniti Q60 will certainly turn heads, but this luxury coupe’s middling interior will make buyers think twice about purchasing one. Sitting inside the Q60 does feel luxurious, but in a mid-aughts kind of way—which we’re pretty certain isn’t what most luxury buyers are looking for these days.

2021 Infiniti Q60 interior

Even if the 2021 Q60 doesn’t have the fanciest cabin, it's still decently appointed and can still be considered luxury (even if at the lower end of the luxury scale). But with a starting price of $41,650 combined with the Q60’s terrific performance specs and high-class exterior design, the Q60 interior can be quietly overlooked.
Here’s a breakdown of the 2021 Q60’s interior.

Seating

You can seat four occupants in the Q60, but those in the rear will be in for a tight ride. All will enjoy comfortable simulated leather upholstery (at least it looks real) on the Pure (base) trim, while the driver and front passenger will benefit from standard power-adjustable seats on all trims. Here’s what you’ll get with the Luxe and Red Sport 400 trims:
  • Leather upholstery
  • Heated front seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Power-adjustable steering wheel (optional)
  • Driver-seat memory (optional)
  • Sport front seats (Red Sport 400 only)

Tech

The Infiniti Q60 remains slightly behind the times in terms of technology. The infotainment system is clunky, with two inelegant touchscreens—between the 8-inch top screen and the 7-inch bottom screen, there’s not much dashboard space left.
Apple Carplay and Android Auto are standard, but these were very recent additions. At least the screens are touch responsive with a convenient controller featuring a rotary knob. Here’s what else comes standard:
  • Satellite radio
  • 6-speaker sound system
  • Wi-fi hotspot
  • 13-speaker Bose audio system (Luxe)
  • Navigation system (Luxe option)
  • 360-degree camera (Luxe, Red Sport)
  • Lane departure warning (Luxe, Red Sport)
  • Adaptive cruise control (Luxe, Red Sport)
  • Forward collision warning (Luxe, Red Sport)
  • Automatic emergency braking (Luxe, Red Sport)
The following tech features are optional on the  Red Sport 400 trim only:
  • Adaptive headlights
  • Blind-spot intervention
  • Direct adaptive steering
  • Lane departure mitigation
  • Lane keep system

Storage

You won’t find a ton of cargo space in the Q60, as its sports just 12 cubic feet of trunk space. There are convenient door pockets for quick storage, as well as a handy storage bin at the front of the Q60’s center stack.

Style

Even with its slightly out-of-touch interior design, the Q60 is a comfortable ride. The cabin materials are high quality, even on the base Pure trim. Leather upholstery adorns the Luxe and Red Sport trims, and heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are included. Sport front seats are available only on the top trim Red Sport.
Even with all the trimmings, the Q60 isn’t the fanciest sports coupe you can get your hands on. But for the money, it's a pretty solid deal.

This app is great, but the customer service is even better! Not to mention convenient! My husband and I got the lowest rate (much lower than the rates I was finding online through my own searches), quickly, and pretty much all through text message! Thank you so much for a hassle free experience👍
