2021 Honda Odyssey configurations

All 2021 Honda Odysseys come with the same V6 engine, front-wheel drive, and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The result is a minivan capable of generating 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque that has a towing capacity of up to 3,500 pounds and gets 22 combined city/highway mpg.
With all these performance decisions already out of the way, the main choice you’ll need to make when picking out a 2021 Honda Odyssey is which of its five
trim levels
you prefer. From the base level to the top tier, they are:
  • LX
  • EX
  • EX-L
  • Touring
  • Elite

Honda Odyssey LX

Starting price: $31,790
Even at the base level, the Honda Odyssey LX offers enough features to keep the whole family comfortable. They include:
  • Automatic climate control
  • Rear-seat heater ducts
  • Power-adjustable front seats
  • 60/40 split-folding third-row seat
  • Bluetooth capability
  • USB charging port
  • Seven-speaker audio system, including subwoofer
  • Map lights in each row
  • Multi-angle rearview camera
  • Collision mitigation braking system
  • Lane departure warning
  • Forward collision warning
  • Cargo volume of 32.8 cubic feet behind the third row, max volume of 144.9 cubic feet
Another perk is that most available driver assistance features come standard, including lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high-beam headlights. On EX and higher trims, a blind spot information system is additionally available.
The LX seats up to seven people, but if you need room for one more, all other trims can seat up to eight.

Honda Odyssey EX

Starting price: $35,190
If you decide to upgrade to the EX trim, as mentioned above, you can upgrade your seating capacity to eight, and a blind spot information system will be added to your roster of driver assistance features.
On the EX trim and up, you’ll get Honda’s Magic Slide seats in the second row. When you remove the middle seat, you can slide the two outboard seats into different positions for more flexibility when it comes to passenger and storage space.
You’ll also have:
  • Heated front seats
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration
  • Tri-zone automatic climate control
  • Second-row sunshades
  • HD and Sirius XM Radio
  • SMS text messaging capability via Bluetooth
  • Heated power side mirrors with turn indicators

Honda Odyssey EX-L

The next step up on the 2021 Honda Odyssey’s trim ladder is the EX-L.
In addition to having a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with four-way power-adjustable lumbar support, you can program up to two memory seating positions for you and another driver to cut down on constant seat readjusting. Driver’s seat memory settings are available on the Touring and Elite trims as well.
The following features are also part of the EX-L:
  • Auto-dimming rearview mirror
  • Heated side mirrors with tilt-down capability for reverse gear, plus memory settings
  • HomeLink remote system
  • Additional 12V power outlet
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • One-touch power moonroof
  • Power tailgate with programmable height

Honda Odyssey Touring

Starting price: $42,500
If those convenience features weren’t enough, the Touring trim is where things really start to feel luxurious.
You’ll get Honda’s CabinTalk in-car PA system for all your important cabin announcements, plus a rear entertainment system with a 10.2-inch high-resolution screen, Blu-Ray player, built-in streaming apps, and two sets of wireless headphones to keep your backseat passengers occupied.
The front area of the Odyssey is also equipped with a 115V power outlet
Additional features include:
  • Wi-Fi hotspot capability
  • CabinWatch rear seat monitor
  • Compass
  • Turn-by-turn directions
  • Blue ambient LED lighting
  • Front and rear parking sensors

Honda Odyssey Elite

Starting price: $47,820
For all these features and more, the Odyssey Elite is your top-tier trim. You’ll have heated and ventilated front seats and an 11-speaker premium audio system
If you’re really into the idea of having a PA system, the Elite’s CabinTalk system will work through the vehicle’s headphones and speakers. Additionally, the wireless phone charger can be an added convenience, especially on long trips.
It’s even equipped with a vacuum to clean up crumbs or debris if you’ve got particularly messy passengers.
