The 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe comes in two seating configurations: the three-row Santa Fe with available seating for seven or the Santa Fe Sport, which seats five.  The interiors of both configurations have much to offer in terms of technology and comfort upgrades.
As far as crossover SUV interiors are concerned, the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe could very well be in a class of its own. With cavernous space for cargo and passengers, varying combinations of comfortable seating arrangements, and a slew of technology features, the Santa Fe has plenty to offer.

2018 Hyundai Santa Fe interior

The 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe comes in two seating layouts: the two-row Santa Fe Sport that seats five and the three-row Santa Fe that accommodates six or seven depending on the trim.
With a starting price just north of $31,000, the keyword of the Hyundai Santa Fe’s interior is flexibility. Depending on your trim level and model, the Santa Fe’s interior can be as upscale or as straightforward as you want. Let’s start with what comes standard on your Santa Fe.

Seating

Standard on all Santa Fes is a power driver’s seat with lumbar support. The 2nd-row bench is split 40:20:40 and maximizes legroom for the third-row passengers by being able to recline and slide forward. With dual climate control standard on the base model, all passengers can ride in comfort. Families will also enjoy stain-resistant fabric when riding with little ones.
As far as upgrades go, the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe SE Ultimate Trim offers leather seating surfaces, heated and ventilated front bucket seat with adjustable lumbar support, and an integrated seat memory system for the driver’s seat—albeit for a substantial price increase.
If seven passengers is one too many for you, you can always opt for the Santa Fe Limited Ultimate trim that offers a second row of comfortable captain’s chairs and seats a total of six.

Tech

On the base model Santa Fe Sport, a USB port and Bluetooth connectivity allow for easy hands-free phone access while driving. A five-inch infotainment display comes standard along with a six-speaker sound system.
The Santa Fe base model (not Sport) adds to this list of standard features with:
  • 7-inch display on the infotainment system (as opposed to the Sport’s 5-inch display)
  • Apple CarPlay
  • Android Auto
  • HD and Satellite radio
Additional upgrades include an 8-inch touchscreen, third-row USB ports, and a panoramic sunroof.

Storage Space

With 13.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row and 40.9 cubic feet behind the second row, the Santa Fe allows you to transport any type of cargo with ease. The second and third rows fold out of the way to create a whopping total of 80 cubic feet of storage space.
The Santa Fe Sport has 35.4 cubic feet of space behind the second-row seats, which can easily fold and make room for 71.5 cubic feet of storage space in total.
