With an original starting price of $48,550, the 2014 Infiniti Q60 convertible offers most of what you could ask for in an open-top car—a strong engine, deft handling, strong brakes, and lots of standard high-tech features (at least for 2014).
Of course, if you don’t want the wind flying through your hair on the open road, you could always opt for the 2014 Infiniti Q60 coupe, so long as you can find one on the open market. You’ll get the same driving thrills on the coupe as the convertible, minus the hair-flying-in-the-wind part.

Fun with the top down: the 2014 Infiniti Q60 Convertible

Who says Infinitis can’t be fun? The 2014 Infiniti Q60 laid waste to that notion, with its peppy driving verve, stylish interior, and easy-to-use infotainment system. So what if this convertible is nearly a decade old? This little Infiniti can move and it remains a joy to drive—even if it's not the most practical car you’ll find on the road.
The Q60 features a powerful 3.6-liter V6 engine with 330 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The base model comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission, with power going to the rear wheels. The Infiniti Q60 goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6 seconds, and it gets 22 mpg combined.
A manual transmission was offered only on the Q60S 6MT, so you’ll have to hunt around the used car market if you’re set on driving a 2014 Q60 with a stick shift.

Is the 2014 Infiniti Q60 Convertible comfortable?

Offering a delightful blend of fun and function, the Q60 convertible is a comfortable, top-down driving experience. Its front seats are cushy and supportive, but the rear seats are best for kids only, as they’re a bit tight for adults. Leather upholstery came standard, and a wood interior trim was optional.
You only get 7.4 cubic feet of cargo space on the 2014 Q60, which was significantly less than its contemporary rivals. So, not the car for any trips where you need to bring a lot of…well, you know…luggage.

Is the 2014 Infiniti Q60 Convertible reliable?

The 2014 Infiniti Q60 got mixed reviews from experts regarding its reliability. JD Power gave the Q60 a solid 86/100 reliability grade. However, RepairPal wasn’t as kind, offering up just a 3.5/5 reliability score for the 2014 Q60. RepairPal also estimates the Q60’s average annual repair cost to be about $750, which is higher than average.

That said, the 2014 Q60 did come with a solid amount of safety equipment, even if it did not come with the kind of driver-assist technology drivers in 2022 have become used to. Here’s the list of safety equipment on the 2014 Infiniti Q60 convertible:
  • Front seat side airbags
  • Full-length side curtain airbags and active front head restraints
  • Antilock disc brakes with brake assist

  • Optional rear parking sensors In brake testing
The 2014 Infiniti Q60 has strong brakes, with Edmunds noting that its stopping distance from 60 mph was 110 feet—an excellent score.

This app is great, but the customer service is even better! Not to mention convenient! My husband and I got the lowest rate (much lower than the rates I was finding online through my own searches), quickly, and pretty much all through text message! Thank you so much for a hassle free experience👍
