Trims and specs of the 2022 Nissan Versa

The 2022 Nissan Versa comes in the S, SV, and SR trims with each trim past the base S mode getting more features beyond the base S model. While all trims have the same engine, the transmission is different.
The S model has a five-manual transmission while the SV and SR come standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). However, the transmission can be upgraded on the base model.
The Nissan Versa is a front-wheel drive sedan that has a 16-valve inline-4 front engine that gets 122 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque. This sedan gets from 0 to 60 mph in a slow 10.4 seconds and 0 to 100 mph in 33.9 seconds.
Car and Driver
recommends and tested the highest trim, the SR, noting that it had a smooth ride and that it gives an “accurate steering feel and consistent brake-pedal feedback”.
The Nissan Versa gets 32 mpg city and 40 mpg with the CVT, while the manual only gets 27 mpg city and 35 mpg highway.
