Over 55,000 Toyota Tundras have sold in the U.S. in 2022—nearly 5,000 more than this time last year. A lot of factors may be at play here, but we’re guessing the redesign played a significant role.
For some truck lovers, the lack of a V8 option in the Tundra might tempt them to discount it as a viable option. But you actually don’t lose any capability from the two V6 powertrain options. Consumer Reports
says the pickup can still haul up to 12,000 pounds and carry 1,940 pounds. Toyota spruced up the truck’s cabin nicely as well. While quality changes for each trim level, a fully loaded Tundra Capstone comes with the largest touchscreen display in the segment, along with wood accents and a JBL sound system.
