Visually, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire is striking even by Bugatti standards.

Motor Trend compares it most to the Bugatti Chiron supercar, but the La Voiture Noire stands on its own. It sports an all-black paint scheme, as "La Voiture Noire" means "The Black Car," and this gives it an aggressive, sleek appearance.

At the front end, this Bugatti looks futuristic, but its hood also brings to mind images of vintage sports cars. The La Voiture Noire rear has a total of six tailpipes, which may seem excessive, but it's fitting for such an over-the-top car.

This one-off Bugatti was made in honor of the legendary manufacturer's 110th anniversary. The name "La Voiture Noire" references another Bugatti known by that name, a Type 57SC that was driven by designer Jean Bugatti.

While the original La Voiture Noire was lost before World War II, this modern take on the car does sport several visual callbacks to its design. The throwback hood and the six tailpipes mentioned earlier are all in reference to the original.
