McLaren
has released some fantastic beasts over the years with one of their most recent offering, overshadowed by the Senna, being the 720S. Not letting go of the race-track vision the McLaren 720S is a sight to behold and belove as it takes authority over the road.
With the help of
Car and Driver
, we broke down every little detail of this McLaren.

The McLaren 720S and its powerful specs

While this might not be the ultimate McLaren, the power and performance of the vehicle should not be overlooked.
The vehicle is a two-door coupe that features a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with a twin-turbo 4-liter V8 engine that gets 710 horsepower and 568 pounds per foot of torque.
With a 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and a whopping 0 to 124 mph in 7.8 seconds the performance of this bad boy is no joke.
Car and Driver notes that when it was driven on a twisty road in California that the advanced suspension and steering system helped even the ride out.
When tested on their “Lightning Lap” Car and Driver described the McLaren 720S as “wonderfully fun and scary fast”, which is quite the delightful combination for those looking for a thrill.
Because this McLaren isn’t a common commuter car it doesn’t get EPA certification, but Car and Driver estimates that it gets 15 mpg city, 22 mpg highway, and a combined 18 mpg.

The tech and interior of the McLaren 720S

Inside the vehicle, a carbon fiber tub is used to simultaneously protect passengers and lessen the weight of the vehicle.
Depending on the trim you select you can either get standard sports seats or carbon fiber racing seats and other minute customization options like different colored seat belts.
While the interior of the McLaren 720S is simplistic in its design, it has some decent tech. With the 720S you get a 7-inch touchscreen that has Bluetooth, two USB ports, and a four-speaker audio system.
If desired, you can upgrade the speaker system to the 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system.
However, one of the coolest optional features available for the 720S is the track-data recorder that can come with three exterior cameras that save lap times and record moments at the track to rejoice in the future.
