The Jeep Wrangler has, for years, been a mainstay option for such conditions, significantly when you've
upgraded its performance
with aftermarket auto parts. But the Rezvani Tank X brings military-grade credentials that combine Wrangler and Dodge mechanics, making it a robust off-road hybrid.
There has been much debate about the Tank X's practicality as a daily commuter, considering its rugged design and gigantic tires. To many, that's quite a long shot because the car comes with a steep starting price—not to mention hefty operating costs. Plus, you'd spend a fortune to buy the SUV and meet the steep auto insurance rates in 2022

Design, features, and performance of the Rezvani Tank X

The Rezvani Tank is actually a Jeep Wrangler – the reason it scores highly on the off-road-performance scale. From there, Rezvani goes wild with the exterior styling, giving it rugged and aggressive military-style body panels. Its high ground clearance combined with its geometric body gives it an intimidating stance that's quite functional on and off the beaten path.
CNET
described the Tank X as the car with a "Demon heart". And it’s an appropriate moniker. The SUV packs a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine borrowed from the Dodge Challenger Demon, perhaps the reason for its lofty price. After the California-based automaker tuned the engine, it cranksed out an incredible 1,000hp.
The Rezvani Tank also comes with three other engine options. You can swap the 6.2L V8 with a 6.4L V8 (500 hp) or take power a notch lower by opting for the 3.0L diesel V6 (285 hp) or 3.6L V6 (285 hp). Regardless of your preferred engine, you can expect excellent off-road performance, especially when combined with the bulging 37-inch tires.
Inside the Tank, you'll find exquisite hand-stitched leather upholstery, a suede headliner, and an advanced infotainment system, complete with a 7.9-inch touchscreen display. Don't get too excited yet, because the nicer leather is an upgrade option that costs $2,500. Still, it's worth the cost for a luxury-first driver.

Is the Rezvani Tank X a practical everyday commuter?

Even with its military cues and a bulletproof underside, Rezvani claimed that it wanted the no-nonsense SUV to be a daily commuter, and it achieved that. The vehicle is street-legal and daily driveable. In fact, it could be an excellent substitute for any driver with an ordinary SUV that lacks bulletproofing.
Some of the vehicle's nitty-gritty comprises features you'd find in a standard SUV. For instance, it comes with a body-on-frame design and the much sought-after 4WD system standard to all trim levels. It may feature Fox Racing suspension, but it doesn't compromise interior comfort. So, it makes sense that you can cruise on city streets while still enjoying a quality ride.
While Rezvani did an excellent job making the car street-legal, the Tank X might be more at home in a military camp. It's reminiscent of the Batmobile out of Christopher Nolan's "Batman". It comes with EMP protection, ballistic armor, and bulletproof glass capable of enduring rounds of high-caliber fire.

As mentioned on
Business Insider
, the Rezvani Tank was designed for the affluent driver who can meet its steep cost. When the automaker first rolled out the military-inspired SUV (with a 6.2L supercharged V8) in 2019, it came with a sticker price of $349,000. Nonetheless, you can expect to splurge as much as $400,000 for a fully loaded Tank.
To appeal to the no-fluff driver, Rezvani manufactured the regular Tank featuring the 3.6L V6, which is priced at $155,000. But if the Tank Military Edition is what caught your heart, you can expect to splurge $140,000 more. The car manufacturer can accept a $35,000 and $65,000 deposit for the Tank and Military Edition models, respectively.
