Ram’s Newest ‘Built to Serve’ Special Edition Truck Is Red Hot
Ram released a new special edition ‘Built to Serve’ truck dedicated to firefighters. What unique features does this truck offer?

The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard were each honored with a commemorative pickup truck. All Built to Serve series trucks, both the 2021 and 2022 editions, are mechanically identical to each other but feature unique design and paint aspects in accordance with the respective theme.
The series is back for 2022 and will be releasing three models in honor of first responders: one each for law enforcement, firefighters, and EMTs. The first model in honor of firefighters—blazing red paint job and all—is now being released and will be in sales lots this Spring.
These special edition trucks are available to be purchased by anyone, but Ram offers a special $500 discount on select 2021 and 2022 trucks and vans for all law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMTs.
What comes with the firefighter edition Ram 1500?
According to a recent

, the starting price for the Ram 1500 Build to Serve models will be $46,625 and a $1,795 destination ree. The special edition Ram 1500 Firefighter edition comes in a choice of two colors: Redline, a deep rich firehouse red, or Diamond Black, a sleek metallic black.The blackened grille and grille surround and black bumpers give the truck a stylish look, in addition to the 20-inch wheels finished in Technical Gray. The interior features black leather ‘Built To Serve’ embroidered seats with orange accent stitching.
Buyers have the choice of any body style or powertrain, and each car comes included with all-terrain tires, electronic-locking rear axle, tow hooks, skid plates, and hill-descent control.
The model is classified as a limited edition release, but Ram hasn’t specified exactly how many will be built.
