One of the Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro's most remarkable features is the motorized rear liftgate window. It's controlled by a bit of a button positioned around the gear compartment, and it allows users to power up or down the entire back window and provide jam prevention.
A retractable rear window, just like standard side windows that may be powered up or down, allows for more aeration and cross ventilation in the SUV while driving or parked in an off-road area, among other things. The motorized rear window opens up a multitude of options: transporting substantial pieces of wood, obtaining some excellent airflow in hot weather, the list goes on and on.

, the roll-down rear window is an excellent feature to have in the summer heat, but it comes with a warning that you will draw on exhaust fumes, so use it with caution! You can also open the tailgate window upward in some older SUVs independently of the bottom, which opens downwards. Old Blazers and other vehicles with tailgate windows are becoming more rare.
A patent on the motorized sliding rear window, or a lack of demand, has kept other manufacturers from making them. Many cars have sunroofs, but they aren't always utilized. People prefer to be relaxed and dry in an air-conditioned cabin rather than exposed to the elements by having their windows rolled down and their hair blowing in the wind.
