The McLaren 600LT Is Barely Road-Legal

The McLaren 600LT is still a powerful and magnificent car that has an astounding 0 to 60 time and per McLaren’s way, puts speed first.

McLaren
is known for building sports cars that test the limits of speed and power consistently and each year the vehicles only get better.
Built in 2019 and 2020 the McLaren 600LT might very well be lost in the sands of time to many especially when it comes to the new Senna, but that doesn’t mean it was worth forgetting.
This McLaren will still send your head spinning and your body might hopefully follow. Take a look at everything you should know about the 2020 McLaren 600LT with information provided by

The specs on the McLaren 600LT

What would a McLaren be, if not exuding power? The McLaren 600LT has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine with a seven-speed automatic transmission. This rear-wheel-drive ride gets 592 horsepower and 457 pounds per feet of torque
The top speed is 204 mph, in 2020 and even now, that’s nothing to scoff about. With a 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and a 0 to 124 mph in 8.2 seconds that’s still faster than some luxury cars today.
Car and Driver notes that while the vehicle’s steering has a natural feel that the ride is stiff and is built more with the track in mind than an everyday drive.
They also estimate that the vehicle gets a low 15 mpg for city and 22 mpg for highway, which is low but with performance like this, does it even matter?

What’s the interior looking like on the McLaren 600LT?

McLaren keeps simplicity in mind when it comes to the design of its vehicles, the car is meant to be fast, not flashy. While the outside is covered in carbon fiber to keep it nice and aerodynamic, the inside is kept lightweight.
While the cabin can be a tight squeeze and isn’t necessarily comfortable, it compensates for it with its smooth racing design and use of quality materials. The steering wheel is flat on the bottom and in the center, there are circular air vents.
Coming standard are heated front seats, soft-close doors, and a power-adjustable steering column. If you’re planning on going on a trip, best to keep your belongings small because the cargo space is only 5.3 cubic feet.
Tech-wise the McLaren 600LT has Bluetooth connectivity, a pair of LCD monitors, and the option of a 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system to replace the one that comes standard.
