Manhart improved the BMW M8 by making it supremely fast, and strong, and added some nice new style to it.

The BMW M8 Competition is a gorgeous performance car with a powerful V8. However, some drivers might want to add even more power to the
BMW
M8 to make it a car truly meant for the track. This is where Manhart, a German-based performance tuning company, comes in.
Autoevolution
states that the Manhart BMW M8 upgrades the standard M8 all around. This modified M8 is faster, stronger, and even more stylish than the original.

Hype for the BMW M8 before its release

It is an understatement to say that the BMW M8 was a car that had fans hyped. The world got its first look at an M8 model in 2017 with the BMW M8 GTE, a race car that entered the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
This racing BMW made fans eager for a production version of the M8, and they would eventually get their wish.
With this excitement, BMW later showed off the M8 Gran Coupe Concept at the Geneva Motor Show. Hype only grew with the knowledge that there would be a production M8 coming sometime in the future.
In August 2019, the production BMW M8 finally reached drivers. BMW's high-powered sports car was no longer a rumor or confined to a racetrack.

The BMW M8 impressed, but it ran into production issues

Despite how impressive the BMW M8 was, its production variant came out at about the worst time possible. The pandemic and subsequent, ongoing supply chain issues derailed the M8's momentum.
These issues even led to the 2021 model not making its way to the U.S. at all, but thankfully, the 2022 BMW M8 is coming to the States.
The base 2022 BMW M8 Competition comes standard with a 617-horsepower twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. This beast of an engine can get the M8 from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds. It has a maximum speed of 155 mph, but it could theoretically go faster if it did not have an electronic speed limit to keep it under control.
Car and Driver
states that the 2022 BMW M8 is fun to handle and that the V8 is just as strong as it sounds like it would be. However, the review also states that the style of the M8 is nothing special and that the heaviness of the car can feel strange.
These issues are minor and will likely not bother most drivers. However, for those who want their BMW M8 with better performance and style, Manhart has you covered.

How did Manhart improve the M8?

Manhart's modified BMW M8 makes the sports car even meaner than it already was. This starts at the powertrain, and the Manhart M8 produces an absurd 812 horsepower. It can get from 0 to 62 mph in 2.6 seconds, 0.6 seconds quicker than the standard M8.
Speed isn't the only improvement in the Manhart BMW M8, as the suspension is also enhanced. Height-adjustable springs from KW Suspensions and 21-inch wheels help make the tuned M8 ready for the track.
It wouldn't be a Manhart project without added style elements either, and the Manhart M8 does not disappoint. Carbon fiber throughout the exterior makes the M8 look like it's ready to be featured in a Fast and Furious movie.
