Trims and specs of the 2023 Honda Odyssey

The 2023 Honda Odyssey comes in various trims including EX, EX-L, Sport, Touring, and Elite.
Car and Driver
recommends the EX-L because it has some extra luxury features that are lacking in the base EX trim: a rear power liftgate, leather seats, and extra rear USB ports.
Front-wheel drive is standard on the Odyssey and it has a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 3.5-liter 24-valve V-6 engine that can get 280 hp at 6,000 rpm and 262 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm. The maximum towing/trailer weight the vehicle can handle is 3,500 lbs.
Per Car and Driver, it’s one of the best-driving minivans and is both a quick and comfortable ride. The EPA estimates that the minivan gets 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and a combined mpg of 22.

Interior features of the 2023 Honda Odyssey

The 2023 Honda Odyssey is an eight-passenger minivan with plenty of power while not forsaking comfort.
For comparison’s sake, Car and Driver looks at the Odyssey’s interior versus the Chrysler Pacifica, “Its second and third rows are among the roomiest in the class, and its second-row seats are far more comfortable than the Pacifica’s”.
The second-row of the Odyssey has 'Magic Slide' seats that can, you guessed it, slide from either side to side or from front to back. It also has a nice, quiet cabin and even an in-cabin camera that shows the front passengers what's going on in the second and third seats.
Although the
Honda Odyssey
has a great shape and low floor for cargo, it can be difficult to get stuff in and out of there. This is especially the case if you want to remove the heavy third-row seats and the not so easy to handle Magic Slide second-row seats.
However, once all that is removed the storage was on par with the Pacifica’s.
Infotainment-wise each trim of the Odyssey will get Honda’s Display Audio 8.0-inch touchscreen. The vehicle comes standard with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capabilities.
If you opt for the Elite or
Touring trims
you get a “rear-seat entertainment system with built-in streaming apps”.
