background
Ferrari is planning on putting their eggs into the EV basket
, but for now they’re still developing high-powered, luxurious, gas vehicles. One of
Ferrari
’s latest models in the 2022 lineup is the Portofino M.

Specs on the Ferrari Portofino M

The 2022 Ferarri Portofino M is rear-wheel drive two-door convertible that can seat four. The Portofino M has a twin-turbo 32 valve 3.9-liter V8 engine, an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and carbon ceramic brakes.
The vehicle gets a stunning 612 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 561 ln-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm
With a 0 to 60 mph of 3.1 seconds and a 0 to 100 mph in 6.8 seconds, no one can dispute that this is most definitely a Ferrari, and if that doesn’t get you going then surely the roaring engine will.
Car and Driver
describes the Ferrari Portofino M as a "comfortable ride and remarkable body control that came courtesy of its well-tuned adaptive dampers. While its electrically assisted steering delivered satisfying feedback, the setup isn't as engaging as what Porsche provides.”
According to the EPA, the convertible gets 23 mpg highway, 16 mpg city, and a combined mpg of 19.

Interior of the Ferrari Portofino M

The 2022 Ferari Portofino M has all the luxurious fixings you’d expect of a Ferrari.
From its leather surfaces with fine detailed stitching to its 18-way power-adjustable front seats the Ferrari is not only lovely but comfortable, at least in the front. These front bucket seats also come with an optional add-on of neck-warming features and ventilation.
When it comes to the back bucket seats they’re small and can be a bit cramped so we wouldn’t recommend taking back-seat passengers on long drives.
A wind deflector keeps the cabin quieter when you’re driving the vehicle as a convertible.
There’s a tray in front of the center console that can store small items and, get excited, there’s a single beverage holder too.
Car and Driver notes that additional storage is already limited when the top is up, but when it’s down don’t expect to be able to store more than a briefcase in the trunk.
Infotainment-wise don’t expect much since let’s be honest that’s not what the car is built for.
Though, the 2022 Ferrari Portofino M does have a 10.2-inch touchscreen on the center dashboard with an option for a touchscreen in front of the driver which would allow them to see performance data and assist in operating the vehicle’s navigation.
The Portofino M doesn’t have particularly unique standard safety features, however, you can get automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and blid-spot monitoring.
