The 2022 Porsche 718 Spyder comes with a 4-liter Flat 6 gas engine, with options for a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission, and is a rear-wheel drive vehicle. 
The vehicle gets a whopping 414 hp and 309 pounds per feet of torque with the manual transmission and with automatic it gets 317 pounds per feet of torque. 
The 718 Spyder gets from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds with manual transmission and a top speed of 187 mph, while the automatic transmission will get from 0 to 60 mph in a cool 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph.
The EPA states that the mpg for the manual version of the vehicle is 17 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, with a combined mpg of 19. The automatic version does slightly better by getting 18 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and a combined mpg of 20.

Interior features of the 718 Spyder

The 2022 Porsche 718 Spyder is a two-seater roadster coming with sports seats, and a generally snug interior. When it comes to storage the Spyder gets 5.2 cubic feet of frunk (front trunk) space and 4.2 cubic feet of space in the rear trunk.
The Spyder’s features include electric backseat adjustment, electric locking function for the roof, power-adjustable and heated side mirrors, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and a programmable garage door opener. 
The Porsche 718 Spyder can come optionally with dual-zone climate control and heated seats, a heated steering wheel, auto-dimming mirrors, power-folding mirrors, and 18-way adaptive sports seats. However, these are the few optional upgrades you can get with the vehicle.

The vehicle comes with the previous model year’s Porsche Communication Management system, and is somewhat lacking when compared with other vehicles’ systems. 
The infotainment system is a 7-inch touchscreen with no Android Auto option, and Apple CarPlay is a $360 optional upgrade when it comes standard on many other vehicles. A navigation system will also cost you extra.
However, the car does have a CD/DVD drive, two SD card slots, 2 USB slots, SiriusXM radio, HD Radio, 11 GB of internal music storage, and Bluetooth connectivity. 
The sound system is basic at best featuring an integrated amplifier and six speakers, with optional upgrades to a Bose or a Burmester speaker system.
