Gotta Catch Them All, If Pokemon Were Cars

If car companies made cars designed like Pokemon they would be quite popular, and while none are available now they might be or you could modify your own car.

Did you know that a lot of
car brands
used characteristics from real-life animals to design their vehicles? You might never have guessed that the iconic Kia Soul is actually based on a boar.
Cars with animal names, such as the Mustang and Impala, sometimes even become instant classics.
It begs the question: what if automakers decided to model cars after fictional animals? Given its massive following, we think that cars inspired by the Pokemon franchise would be big sellers.
MotorTrend
found a Carwow video teasing what some of them could look like.

Pikachu and the Nissan Juke: an excellent match

Given the Nissan Juke's polarizing design, this choice might offend some Pokemon fans of this adorable electric rodent. However, we'd like to argue that Pikachu's looks would actually create a more aesthetically-pleasing Juke.
Its tiny circular headlights would make more sense if they represented Pikachu's cheeks. The Nissan Juke already has a rounded, compact body. A cute pair of ears and lightning-bolt tail would also make the Juke's design more appealing.
It also has one of the zippiest powertrains you can find in the subcompact SUV segment, matching Pikachu's electrified nature. It can produce up to 215 horsepower with eager handling to match.

If these Pokemon were sports cars, what would they be?

Meowth's quick and cunning nature, shown by Team Rocket's villainous sidekick, reminds us of the Mercedes-AMG GT R. This model has a twin-turbo V8 engine with 577 horsepower on tap. The GT R is a track-focused variant of the GT, so it only has RWD.
Carbuzz
says it only needs 3.5 seconds to reach 60 mph, making it an excellent getaway vehicle. A pair of whiskers could be perfectly integrated into the side intakes, and the tail blends nicely into the rear spoiler.
We also know that in Pokemon every Meowth enjoys collecting shiny coins and other valuable objects. The Mercedes AMG GT R's interior fits this cat's high-class needs with quilted leather seats and glossy metal vents.
According to Pokemon lore, Mewtwo is a result of genetic experimentation by humans, making it one of the most powerful species in existence. The Lexus LC500, outfitted with all the latest mechanical technology, best emulates this powerful Pokemon's character.
The standard LC500 has a 471-horsepower V8, but this car can also be optioned with a hybrid powertrain. This one produces 354 horsepower and is rated for 29 mpg combined city/highway.
You can enhance the Lexus LC500 even more with the adaptive steering systems offered in the Performance package. Regardless of the powertrain, every LC500 has a beautifully-crafted interior with up-to-date technology.

This bulbous Range Rover makes a good Bulbasaur

The grass Pokemon Bulbasaur has the same shape as the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. However, this SUV is probably quicker than a stalwart Bulbasaur with 246 ponies worth of turbo power.
This engine has some hybrid power, which would be very fitting for a plant-like Pokemon. Each Evoque's interior is also primarily constructed of sustainable materials, and vegan leather is available. Additionally, the flowering bulb that sits on Bulbasaur's back would be a perfect fabric cover for the convertible Evoque.

Would a Pokemon car need special auto insurance?

If any automakers ever released a Pokemon car, you can bet that it would be a huge hit for some collectors. This would drive up the car's resale value, raising its insurance along with it. You could also theoretically use some paint, extra parts, and a lot of time to modify your existing vehicle into a Pokemon.
Both highly-valued and customized cars usually need some extra insurance coverage. If you're worried about the added cost,
