The
standard 2022 Genesis G80
has a turbocharged 2.5-liter 16-valve inline-four-cylinder engine that gets 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque with an option of rear or all-wheel drive, aptly called the 2.5T. The 0 to 60 mph time of the base Genesis G80 is 5.7 seconds.If you’ve got the extra cash you may want to consider the 3.5T Sport trim, however, this trim only comes in all-wheel drive.
The Genesis G80 3.5T Sport has a 375 hp twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6. Both trims come with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 0 to 60 mph time is 4.9 seconds.
The standard Genesis G80 with rear-wheel drive gets 23 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. If you get the Sport trim you’ll get 17 mpg and 26 mpg highway.
