For the off-roaders who love to get messy—
Ford
has released the 2022 Bronco Everglades, their latest special edition 4x4.
This special edition Bronco can stand up against the wet and muddy terrains of the Everglades and the meanest swamp monsters. This SUV is built to handle anything from smooth paved highways to
Florida's
mucky wetlands.

How much does the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades cost?

The beastly 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades special edition starts at around $53,000 with a $1495 delivery charge. Ford enthusiasts are over the moon about the revived Bronco series. They are creating quite a waitlist for special editions like this and other fan favorites like the Bronco Raptor.
These gems are only available to those who already have a reservation. So if you want to get one, you'll have to join the line.
 According to
Kelley Blue Book
, the new Everglades edition carries a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-4 engine making 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque.

Special packages and add-ons for the Bronco Everglades

Off-roading vehicles are made to be highly customizable. Ford creates a functional base, and you complete the master piece by fitting them with tools and performance-enhancing gadgets.
The Bronco Everglades is undoubtedly a perfect base with deep angles, locking differentials, and independent foot suspension to support your additions.
The Everglades comes equipped with the Sasquatch pack: it has 35-inch mud tires, Bilstein shocks, and high-clearance fender flares. Plus, everything else you need to rough it out in the Everglades—like a snorkel. A reversible snorkel, to be specific. It allows drivers to change the direction of the snorkel, avoiding the intake of dirt and dust.
Ford says that the Everglades model can travel comfortably in 36.4 inches of water and has raised the transfer case and transmission vents to accommodate. It also comes with rock rails, steel bash plates, and a protective safari bar precisely like the ones found on the Badlands Bronco model

Wet and wild inside and out

MORE: New Bronco Color Options
Ford didn't miss a beat when styling the Everglades edition. It comes as a standard 4-door model with a molded-in color hardtop. Buyers get to choose between the exclusive Desert Sand paint, which should provide excellent camouflage, and four other fitting colors.
Other features unique to the Everglades model are the urban green accent stitching, grab handles and air vents. Ford carries the wet and wild theme seamlessly through into the interior, where a marine-grade vinyl covers the seats, with "rubberized washout flooring."
This machine is made for splashing comfortably through waters and driving confidently beyond where the road ends.
