Over the last 10 years, there have been a number of insanely cool cars produced by various
car brands
. When a car is especially interesting or unique, it becomes an influential vehicle on the automotive world as a whole, with the potential to impact style, design and more for years to come.
Jerry
, the

Tesla Model S

The electric car market has boomed in popularity over the last decade, and the Tesla Model S was at the forefront of it all, earning it a place on this really cool cars list.
As
Money Inc.
notes, before the Tesla Model S, electric cars were impractical—they took hours upon hours to charge, and even when they were charged they only lasted a few models before needing to be charged again. The Model S introduced technology that made electric cars practical and sought after.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat

During the last decade, many car brands have tested just how much power they can put into one engine. The Dodge Challenger Hellcat makes this list of five really cool cars of the last decade due to the sheer amount of power it holds, for a good price. According to
CarBuzz
, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat produces an astonishing 707 hp.
Not to mention, this Dodge vehicle was one of the last true muscle cars of the decade, making it not only powerful, but also historical.

Ferrari LaFerrari

Car and Driver
loves the Ferrari LaFerrari, naming it one of their favorite cars of the past decade. Like the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the Ferrari LaFerrari makes our list of really cool cars because of the power it provides, but for a price that is significantly more than the Dodge.
A 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari comes equipped with a 6.3-liter, V12 engine that produces 789 hp—but it’ll cost drivers about $1.4 million to get it out of the dealership and on the road. However, for that price, you can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, and drive a quarter mile in under 10 seconds. That’s pretty cool in our book.

Jeep Renegade Trailhawk

Jeeps are cool because of their ability to off-road and take drivers on adventures, and the
Jeep Renegade Trailhawk
is no exception. The crossover Jeep was one of the car brand’s best selling, and influenced other car brands like BMW and Toyota to explore more crossover cars over the past decade.
A 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk that comes with 1.3-liter, inline four engine under the hood costs less than $25,000. Plus, it can produce 177 hp, and has a nine-speed automatic transmission to boot.

BMW i8

The BMW i8 is a unique supercar, which earns it a place on this really cool cars list. The BMW i8 is influential because it’s a supercar that’s also good for the environment, which isn’t a combination we see too often on the roads.
As
Top Gear
points out, the BMW i8 has a mid-engined layout, high horsepower, and incredible steering capabilities. But, it doesn’t use a giant engine that forces it to become a gas-guzzler. Instead, it has a turbocharged 1.5-liter, three-cylinder, paired with a 11.6 kWh battery pack, and two electric motors.
