It’s a rare occurrence in the automotive world to hear the words “fast” and “pickup truck” together in the same sentence.
Pickup trucks
are known for a lot of things—being able to tow heavy loads, possessing tons of storage space, their giant wheels and more—but being fast is typically not one of those things.
However, there are some exceptions to this norm. If you’re the type of driver who has a need for speed but still wants a big truck, here are a few of the fastest pickup trucks on the market.

2021 Ram 1500 TRX

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is the fastest Dodge truck available today. Under the hood of this pickup truck you’ll find a 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine that carries 700 hp and about 650 lb-ft of torque. On top of that, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just over four seconds, which rivals the acceleration capabilities of many non-pickup truck vehicles.
But, the Ram 1500 TRX can still offroad very well, meaning drivers won’t have to sacrifice adventure for speed. With improved exhaust and suspension, the Ram 1500 TRX provides drivers with a thrill and can hold up in the toughest conditions.

2004 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning
