One of the fastest Italian cars, the 2018 Lamborghini Huracán Performante

The 2018 Lamborghini Huracán Performante is not necessarily the best-looking Lamborghini. However, it is one of the fastest in the market. Interestingly, the model came at a base price of just above $200,000.
This model runs on a naturally-aspirated V10 engine that produces a whopping 443 lb-ft and 631 horsepower. The vehicle can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds and has a maximum speed of 201 mph.
In addition, the vehicle has great handling, with the mid-engine layout providing better distribution of the weight for enhanced speed.
The Huracan Performante also boasts less weight, revised aerodynamics, and an adjustable suspension setup. Magnetorheological dampers adjust the suspension to maximize traction.
Unlike many supercars, it powers all four wheels and comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission system. Other cars with similar engine setups include the Porsche 911 Turbo and the Audi R8.

Is the Pagani Zonda R among the fastest Italian cars?

The Pagani Zonda R is one of the Italian racing cars that debuted in 2007. It runs on a GT 112 rear mid-engine that works like the racing version of the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR. Pagani produced only 15 models of the vehicle.
Its 6-liter M120 V12 engine produces 740 horsepower and 524 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual sequential engine from Xtrac, and can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
According to
Pagani
, the updated versions of the vehicle, such as the Zonda R Revolucion, have improved the exterior design, aerodynamics, and comfort. However, the acceleration remains the same.
