The Jeep SJ platform was manufactured and sold under various names between 1962 and 1988. The 1963 Jeep Gladiator J-200 ½ Ton is a full-size truck that was ahead of its time. Sold as a four-wheel drive truck, the Gladiator featured an impressive single-overhead-cam six-cylinder engine. The cool old truck can be found for as low as $7,700.
The 1983 Jeep Scrambler can hit a top speed of 78 mph, powered by 92 horses. While it’s priced a bit higher than its peers at $20,000, its durability and off-road capability make it more than worth the price.

Dodge had a successful 33-year run with its D-Series from 1960 to 1993, before Ram trucks became the face of the company. The 1970 Dodge D100 is one smooth high-performance pickup. Unlike past models, the D100 offered carpeting and a padded front seat.

The 1979 Dodge Power Wagon goes for about $12,300. Numerous model series of the Power Wagon four-wheel drive medium duty truck were created by Dodge from 1945 to 1980. The D series was redesigned in 1979, resulting in a more rounded exterior.
