These Celebs Pimped Their Rides In Some Ridiculous Ways

Celebrities may have the extra money to customize any car they please, but that doesn’t mean they should. In this case, we're glad stars aren’t like us.

Celebrities
have influence. We look to them for the latest trends in fashion, real estate, and of course, motor vehicles. But what happens when they take their custom builds too far?

Classy changes to luxury vehicles

Kim Kardashian has an extensive car collection including a Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, and a Rolls-Royce Ghost. She also dropped about $100,000 to get them custom wrapped in gray plus additional accent features.
One of her most used custom cars is her futuristic Cadillac Escalade. While it has few modifications, the silver car does have blacked-out windows and stunning 26-inch wheels designed just for her.
Before he sold it in 2012, you used to be able to spot David Beckham driving around a Rolls- Royce Phantom Drophead. Before Rolls-Royce released the Dawn, the Drophead was the pinnacle of convertible extravagance.
Where the four-door went wrong was with Beckham’s choice of wheels. According to
HotCars
, “The wheel design was that of lowriders, and blacking out the spokes made the car look tacky and cheap.” If only it was cheap; the sketchy Drophead cost the soccer star $400,000.
A newer addition to Justin Bieber’s collection, the Rolls-Royce Wraith is as show-stopping as its owner. On its own, the Wraith exudes beauty, luxury, and elegant lines. But Bieber decided to step it up a notch by working with West Coast Customs garage.
“Inspired by the Rolls-Royce 103EX concept car, this Wraith is designed to make it look like it’s ‘floating’ instead of rolling on tires,” HotCars reports. However, this Wraith seems to have missed the mark. The classic Rolls-Royce was botched beyond belief, and we can’t even look at what they’ve done to the rear.

Colorful mods you won’t believe

deadmau5 is known for his electronic house music and his obsession with the famous internet meme, the Nyan Cat. According to HotCars, “He purchased a Ferrari 458 Spyder and wrapped the car in a Nyan Cat livery – calling it his ‘Purrari,’ whereafter Ferrari issued a cease-and-desist order, forcing him to remove the wrap.”
Don’t mess with Ferrari. The artist sold his 458 and wrapped a new Lamborghini Huracan in a Nyan Cat livery instead. He calls it the Purracan.
The self-fixated Jojo Siwa made some questionable modifications to the Tesla Model X. The EV was the Dancer/Singer/Youtuber’s 16th birthday present, and she added psychedelic seats, colorful wheel trims, and a wrap with countless life-size pictures of her face. I guess we’ll always know when she’s in town.
Hot Wheels, anyone? Chris Brown’s 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo is an oversized matchbox model. Brown’s design made the Gallardo even more extreme if you can believe that, with retro-70s throwback paint. The bright yellow, blue, and red paint along with blue spokes are quite the eye sore in the city. We just hope he sold it.

Pink and gold never get old

Paris Hilton has always had good taste in cars. “She has owned a gray Mercedes McLaren SLR (which is now owned by Ed Bolian) and a Lexus LFA – both of which she thankfully left unmodified,” HotCars tells us. But then came the pink Bentley Continental GT.
While pink is in fact a Bentlypaint color, they didn’t offer this pink. Paris’ GT was a light, flat baby pink with an aftermarket grill and atrocious pink rimmed wheels. And once you stepped inside the cabin, it was just as pink as the exterior, with the exception of a few black accents.
Keeping on with the pink theme is Nicki Minaj’s pink Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster. With a nickname like “Barbie,” the car just makes sense for the rapper. The sports car is metallic pink wrapped with holographic accents and boasts a 6.5 naturally aspirated V12 engine.
The Roadster is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission with 759 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. With a top speed of 217 mph, the pink racer can hit 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
It’s hard to miss Flo Rida’s gold chrome Bugatti Veyron. The Veyron 16.4 is one of the flashiest autos we’ve seen from the brand, and that’s saying a lot. Not only was the luxury car wrapped in gold chrome, but it was also fitted with five-spoke wheels with gold accents. In 2013, the rapper even wrapped the car in hot pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Jamie Foxx was so inspired by the gold design that he modified his own Veyron in the exact same manner. Sans the shiny wheels.
