NASA has strict specifications for the astronaut carrier
According to NASA, the astronaut transportation van will have a pod-shaped exterior. It is expected to be environmentally friendly with

In the agreement, it’s stated that the van should have adequate space for eight people: a driver, security agent, technician, flight operations director, and four fully-suited astronauts. It should also be spacious enough to fit the astronauts' equipment and personal effects.
Also, the van should offer comfort and safety features with cooling units for air conditioning, and power connectors meant for each seat. The doors should be 24 to 36 inches wide—enough to facilitate smooth entry and exit.
