G63 AMG 6x6 epitomizes off-road power, functionality, and performance.
Built like a brick house, the rig is in its element when taking on grueling and unforgiving conditions off the beaten path and in extreme weather. It's the most superior off-roader ever built by Mercedes engineers, and you'll be hard-pressed to see such engine power and equipment in another vehicle.
The Mercedes 6x6 boasts a sublime combination of features to make it the undisputed off-road king. It comes with six gigantic tires, a massive V8 engine, off-road reduction gear housed in the transfer case, 400 kW power, and a tire pressure control system that delivers tip-top performance at high speeds. For a high-spirited adventurer, the vehicle ticks all the boxes.

Specs and features of the Mercedes 6x6

The G63 AMG 6x6 maintains a level head in the rocky desert and when the weather turns against you. Weighing a total of 3.85 tons and featuring straight bodylines and sharp angles, the Mercedes 6x6 is not a car to toy with. With its massive 37-inch tires, the car can crawl over giant boulders. In fact, it was  built for that.
The Mercedes 6x6 boasts a revved-up performance combining the G-class's civilian modular system and a military-grade modular system. Its 5.5L twin-turbo AMG V8 engine delivers an incredible 536 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque; the military-inspired power tools include a portal axle that lowers the wheel position in relation to the axle center. That increases its ground clearance by virtually half a meter.
Mercedes
gave the G63 AMG 6x6 an innovative tire pressure control system, enabling it to adjust the tire pressure for front and rear axles separately. That's facilitated by high-capacity compressors and 20-liter pressure vessels installed under the rear wheel arches. While other cars adjust tire pressure in 10 minutes, that occurs in less than 20 seconds with the Mercedes G63.

According to
Forbes
, even renowned automotive reviews hail the Mercedes G63 AMG. One described it as "the largest and most extreme street-legal off-road vehicle ever to roll out of the Mercedes factory." It meets the off-road power demands with little fuel consumption, usurping 19.6-11.2 liters per 62.1 miles.
Driving the car is a blast, especially in the wide-open spaces of rugged topography where there's enough room for it to flex its stuff. With five differentials that can be locked on the fly, you'll enjoy top-notch handling and control when cornering. It's hard to tell how it would stand up to the morning rush— but surely no motorist or pedestrian would miss it.
The limited-edition Mercedes 6X6 was built for the brand's affluent and eccentric enthusiasts. The German automaker only manufactured 100 models between 2013 and 2015. Having mentioned that, it's not a surprise that the car comes with a $511,612 price tag—which is about $205,000 more than the already expensive 2013 Mercedes Benz G63 AMG.

Despite its off-road credentials, the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6 also comes with a design to behold. Being an AMG, Mercedes needed to give it the signature twin-blade radiator grille and a trim featuring powerful LED light strips above the windshield. The wheel arch flares add a carbon-look finish that blends perfectly with the eye-catching stainless steel roll bar.
The stand-alone styling also extends to the car's rectilinear interior design. The dashboard features fine, straight lines and is steeped with a 12-inch tech-ready instrument. You'll also love the exquisite leather upholstery that potently mixes unmatched stitching and intricate diamond shapes.
Other top features include electrically adjustable, ventilated, and heated seats and unique center consoles in the rear.
