A Bugatti Veyron is a high-end supercar that's not popular among the average car owner.
We've seen videos of such precious and luxurious speed machines being handled and transported carefully to their millionaire owners or spotted them caged in well-maintained garages. Simply put, they are not dime-a-dozen cars you'd see every day.
Purchasing such a high-risk seven-figure car will mean the prospective owner can expect higher-limit

premiums for proper coverage.
While pricey and highly regarded, the Veyron is designed for the road. They get wrecked sometimes, and the outcomes are high

The damages and usage of the $1 million trashed Bugatti Veyron

According to
Jalopnik
, this Bugatti Veyron is currently in an auction with bids reaching $1 million on "Bring A Trailer." Following thorough examinations by a professional car maintenance center, the blue-and-white Veyron was tagged "unsafe to drive." The prospective buyer will have to ship the car to their intended destination using a trailer.
This Veyron has an odometer reading of 14,000 miles coupled with several damages. Some of its shortcomings include: damaged and repaired left rocker panel, wrecked and repaired front spoiler, non-functional active rear wing, and leaking front heat exchangers.
Perhaps the two-comma price tag is because of its low mileage and obviously not its condition.
Sources close to the auction say that the supercar might have been used as a rental car in Newport Beach, CA, by a rental company called Newport Exotics. Since then, the company's contact number has been disconnected.
Its semi-functional website features a Veyron listed for rental services, but it's not the same one in the auction.

What was the damaged Bugatti Veyron like before and now?

Bring A Trailer
noted that this 2006 Veyron is the 41st of 252 coupes rolled out by Bugatti and only the 12th to be delivered to the U.S. market.
Purchased and initially registered in California in October 2020, the rig featured a white paint job with blue doors, fenders, and coves. However, it has undergone several repairs and detailing since sustaining damages.
December 2021, the car was transported to the Bugatti Newport Beach for mechanical repairs, including fluid flushes and refills, an annual service, and new tire installations.
It later had a facelift in January 2022. This time, the damaged front spoiler and left rocker panel were repaired. Although dubbed unsafe for driving, the mileage has increased since the report, indicating it has hit the road since its listing.
Whoever has the money to splurge $1 million for this 2006 Veyron 16.4 will get the manufacturer's manual, keys, factory HP iPaq pocket PC, a Bugatti-labeled battery tender, latest service documents, a clean Carfax report, and a California title under the seller's name.
However, they’ll still need to be on good terms with their local Bugatti service shop to make it safe for driving.

The specs, features, interior and exterior design

Besides its white-and-blue paint job, this Veyron's exterior is built using aerospace-grade stainless steel and aluminum. It also has a carbon-fiber monocoque passenger cell, an aluminum front end, and a carbon-fiber rear end.
The on-sale wrecked supercar is embellished with the model's signature titanium "horseshoe" grille and exposed aluminum rear intake snorkels.
Its interior trimmings feature beige and blue leather upholstery and a cockpit with bucket seats tucked inside tan leather and blue accents. The consoles have a one-piece aluminum panel with many features, including the gearshift, automatic climate control knobs, Burmester audio system, and a clock, perfectly contrasted with the blue leather dashboard.
Under its hood lies an 8.0-liter W16 engine that delivers stump-pulling 978hp, which is transferred to all four wheels through a Ricardo 7-speed dual-clutch transmission system. During its initial straight-out-of-the-factory testing, the car reached a record 253 mph.
