Celebrities usually drive some of the most luxurious and premium cars. Still, while some boast foreign
supercars
like Ferraris and Lamborghinis, others prefer classic sedans and muscle cars
Most of these cars are domestic or European brands, but some celebrities prefer Japanese cars, lining them alongside their exotic high-end vehicles. Besides, fame brings fortune, and you can bet these celebrated car owners can afford things like relatively higher
auto insurance coverage
for these Asian cars. Below are eight celebrities and their JDM (Japan Domestic Market) cars.

Rowan Atkinson and Daniel Wu drive Honda models

Rowan Atkinson—known to comedy fans as Mr. Bean—loves cars as much as making his audience laugh. He owns a 2002 Honda NSX—Honda's first supercar, which many people usually mistake for a Ferrari. As noted by
HotCars
, it packs a 3.0 or 3.2-liter V6 (depending on the model year) that delivers 270 hp to 290 hp, enough power to launch it from 0-60 mph in 5 seconds.
Mr. Bean is not the only actor with a taste for Honda cars. Daniel Wu, the star of Into The Badlands, is a proud owner of a 1968 Honda S800. Wu's S800 is nowhere near a stock car, as it was built from the ground up by two automotive bigwigs: DJ Designs and Pandem. The vehicle features redesigned fenders, stylish Modern Toyo wheels, and a bold black paint job.

Paul Walker and T-Pain love Nissan models, but Jay Leno flaunts a Mazda

The late Fast And Furious actor Paul Walker’s name was synonymous with sports cars. Among his JDM cars is a 1989 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec. Sporting a silver color, Walker's R34 rolled out of the factory with a 276-hp twin-turbo inline-six, but he later upgraded it with an HKS intercooler, a carbon fiber hood, and a new body kit. He later switched it for a white V-Spec II.
Besides Paul Walker, another celebrity with a Japanese car in his collection is T-Pain. His affinity for drift cars compelled him to invest in a Nissan 240SX S14. T-Pain's S14 sports a green Rick-and-Morty-inspired cover with an image of Pickle Rick on the hood. Under it lays a stock 2.4-liter inline-four engine, which handles T-Pain's high-spirited drifts.
Jay Leno—the king of car collecting—owns a well-maintained 1970 Mazda Cosmo 110S; you'd think it's new. The car was the first Mazda to feature a Wankel rotary engine. It's a rare car with a stylish exterior, and those were the primary reasons Leno bought the car. The Jay Leno's Garage host is a fan favorite for his boldness to try a wide range of car makes and models.

What about Bucky Lasek, Sung Kang, and Rutledge Wood?

Bucky Lasek owns a Subaru GC8 WRX, which has undergone tremendous customization. He bought the car for $600 and then transformed it into a rally car that could also double up as a daily driver. Lasek began by swapping the stock engine for a turbocharged four-banger from a 2002 STI to provide more power (400 hp) and grunt. He later added a stylish widebody kit for a race-inspired look.
Sung Kang, another Fast and Furious actor, is a speed buff on and off the camera. He vaunts a modified 1973 Datsun 240Z, a.k.a FuguZ. After purchasing the car on Craigslist, he added a sporty Rocket Bunny widebody kit and a 2.6-liter RB26 from Skyline GT-R, which he modified by removing the turbos and replacing them with individual throttle bodies. The car cranks out 245 hp; impressive power.
Rutledge Wood is a former Top Gear USA host with an impressive car collection. Among his vehicles is a widebody 1986 RWB Porsche. RWB is the short form of RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF, a car tuning brand specializing in customizing old sports cars, such as the Porsche 911 and transforming them into attractive, wide, high-performance sports cars that dominate the track.
