Convertibles
may not always be the most practical car for a situation, but a convertible is still a cool and fun car to drive around on a warm day. Many automakers still make convertibles, including Ferrari which has many great options, but convertibles don't have to be expensive. Here's a look at some of the best 2022 convertibles you can buy to cruise down the coast with.

Audi A5

According to
Kelley Blue Book
, the Audi A5 is one of the best convertibles from the 2022 model year. It's equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that gets 261 horsepower, and this allows it to go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds.
It has a price tag of about $52,000, and like any Audi, it has a stylish exterior and interior. The materials that it uses are also high-end, but unfortunately, its rear seats can be cramped for the passengers.

Porsche 718 Boxster

This Porsche convertible starts at about $63,000, and customers can get even nicer and more powerful versions that cost about $100,000. It comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four that gets 300 horsepower, and this lets it go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
This Porsche is a great convertible, but customers will need to spend more money to get the most out of the car.

Chevy Corvette

The convertible trim of the Corvette is actually surprisingly expensive, as it starts at about $68,000. Just like other Corvettes in this generation, however, the convertible version is extremely powerful.
It comes with a 6.2-liter V8 that gets 490 horsepower. When this Corvette is equipped with the Z51 package, it can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. That's a lot of power for the price tag. The Corvette does have a small issue with its rear visibility, but it's a very competent convertible.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The Corvette is a very powerful option, but the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a premium option. The convertible version starts at about $72,500, and Mercedes-Benz offers a mix of luxury features and power.
It has a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that can get up to 429 horsepower. This will allow the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 5 seconds. The E-Class also has two huge 12.3-inch screens, a lot of smart features, and a very comfortable interior that includes heated front seats.

Mazda MX-5 Miata

Unlike the other 2022 convertibles, the Miata is not the fastest nor the most luxurious. It's a very cheap convertible, as it starts at about $27,000, and its engine is small and modest.
The Miata has a 2.0-liter inline-four, and it only gets 181 horsepower. This allows the
Mazda
to go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, but that's not why it's great. It seats two people comfortably, and it is a very fun car to cruise around in for the price tag. It's no surprise that the Miata has done well in the past and continues to do well in the present day.
