Another drawback of the 2022 Corolla Hatchback is the cramped interior. While no one selects a compact for its spaciousness, the rear seat especially feels very cramped in this hatchback. The trunk and cargo area also scored poorly in terms of size and convenience. The MSRP of the Corolla ranges from around $21,165 - $25,215.

What the Subaru Impreza has to offer compared to the Corolla Hatchback
Where the Corolla hatchback is lacking in comfort, the 2022 Subaru Impreza comes to save the day. The overall fuel economy is slightly lower than the Corolla at 30 mpg, but it still earned itself a “green choice” rating from CR.
The roomy interior, comfortable ride, and user-friendliness were all determining factors in what gave this car such positive feedback from owners. Where the Corolla’s ride is loud and jumpy, the 2022 Impreza proves itself as one of the most comfortable-riding cars in the compact category.
