If there is one car in the world that should be bulletproof, it should be James Bond’s ride, and now, this
Aston Martin
Vantage is just that: bulletproof, armored, and able to withstand any number of different assault scenarios.

How is this possible?

Thanks to a company called AddArmor, this Aston Martin Vantage has been transformed into a “mobile safe room”.
AddArmor, based in Wyoming, has made a business out of changing regular vehicles into highly secure environments.
According to
MotorTrend
,  this car is now “riot-proof.” AddArmor applied the anti-intrusion protection package to the Vantage with a B-4 level armoring. This adds about 450 pounds to the weight of the car—though you can’t tell by looking at it—and AddArmor adjusted the suspension of the car to account for it.

Features of the B-4 armor

For this level of armoring, the windows were replaced with glass that is bulletproof, baseball bat-proof, and cinder block-proof. No one is getting through those windows!
The body was coated in hardened steel, the exhaust tips have protection against objects being inserted into them, and, shockingly (literally), the door handles can administer electric shocks to assailants!
The B-4 package costs in the ballpark of $32,500, in addition to the cost of the car, which in this case is $139,000.

Can I get this on my car?

AddArmor can apply this package or any of their other packages to any vehicle. They are known for equipping Cadillac Escalades and Mercedes G-Wagens, but they will add armor to any vehicle—even the family minivan, if you so desire. There are endless possibilities for armoring up.
Want to be able to drive on flat tires? No problem. They will install run-flats on your car. Want a loud siren to scare off unwanted criminal activity? They have that too.
Hidden pepper spray dispensers, speakers on the outside of the car to address people outside the car, smoke screens, land mine detectors? Yep. They have those. And more.
The creators of the company include special forces veterans and law enforcement experts.
According to the
AddArmor
website, they are good at what they do because they are “highly experienced combat, business, and law enforcement veterans from the world's most elite organizations combined with the lightest, strongest, most advanced armoring technology.”
With multiple levels of armor protection to choose from, celebrities, doomsday preppers, people working in combat areas, politicians, or even James Bond wannabes can ride with peace of mind that their vehicle will protect them from all manners of assault.
