Love them or hate the films, the Fast & Furious franchise delivers on their promise of gratuitous action and cars in abundance. The plots may not be spectacular, but every film always seems to outdo the last in over-the-top stunts.
Fast & Furious has had nine installments featuring lots of
cars
. However, one of the franchise's best films, Tokyo Drift, stands out by using top-of-the-line vehicles. Here are all the vehicles from the Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Mazda RX-7

The Mazda RX-7 is a stand-out vehicle in the film. It has a beautiful orange custom body kit made by VeilSide, a Japanese tuner shop—giving it a more street-racing ready look.
The RX-7 is kitted out with a turbocharged engine, churning out 280 hp and sending it from 0-60 in under 6 seconds.

Nissan Skyline GT-R R33

MORE: How 'Fast & Furious' Movies Makes Drivers Feel More Connected With Their Cars
The Nissan Skyline made a brief cameo in Tokyo Drift and shows one of the film's coolest pickup techniques. It’s similar to the RX-7 in style and engineering, offering 280 hp out of a slightly bigger engine. However, the Skyline is notable for its handling skill, embodying the “Tokyo Drifting” title.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX

The Evo was one of the more heavily customized cars in the film, changing from an all-wheel-drive to a rear-wheel-drive drifting machine. A turbocharger also souped up the speed, with a nearly 300 hp kick carrying it from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.

Nissan Silvia S15 Spec-S

The S15, nicknamed the 'Mona Lisa', is one of the more iconic vehicles in Tokyo Drift. While the S15 had little screen time, it gained a massive following afterward. The vehicle had an SR20DET engine, and a C-West supplied GT wing. Its wheels got a visual upgrade involving some 19-inch GT-7 rims. Though it wasn’t blisteringly quick, the cool body made it a classic.

2004 Mazda RX-8

The car doesn't make many appearances in the movie and is only seen briefly during the end credits. But it’s still a crucial part of the stacked car lineup.
The RX 8 has a 1.3L engine with 228 horsepower. That power was complemented with a carbon fiber hood, Volk Racing GT-AV 19-inch rims, and a Wankel rotary engine, amounting to a car that was equal parts cool and understated.

2002 and 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z

Both the 2002 and 2003 years of the Nissan Fairlady Z33 model make their way into the franchise.
The 2002 Fairlady is driven by Morimoto, where both the vehicle and character meet their demise in a crash. D.K. also crashes his 2003 Fair vehicle going down a mountain, though D.K. makes it out alive.

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback

The 1967 Mustang Fastback is our last noteworthy car on the list, as it's the car Sean drives to beat D.K. down the mountain.
Owned by Sean's father, this car was in serious disrepair before Sean and his friends restore it to a working condition.
