Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA keeps the award-winning formula

The
Alfa Romeo
website describes the limited edition GTA as a specially tuned version of the Giulia Sprint GT. They made only 500 units, and they have focused on creating a special driving experience.
The original Gran Turismo Alleggerita, which is Italian for 'lightened Gran Turismo,' started life as a race car in 1965. It won "Challenge Europeo Marche" three times in a row, and it excelled in many other national races.
Alfa Romeo then turned their sports car into a sedan. This is the traditional five-seater model people have loved for decades.
Along with the five-seat sedan model, the new GTA keeps the Quadrifoglio splitter and much of the Autodelta design. It even keeps the company's logos, but the real tradition is adding power while removing weight.

How does the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA get any sportier?

Their first step in making the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA was to take off 100 kg from the car. They did this by revamping the exterior silhouette and using light materials.
The next step in adding zip to this already zippy car was attaching a carbon fiber rear spoiler. Sauber Engineering made it especially to increase the aerodynamic load for a fantastic driving experience.
Expanded air intakes and carbon fiber inserts increase performance and aesthetics. The new carbon-fiber-tipped titanium exhaust system doesn't hurt the performance either.
They put in a 2.9 V6 Bi-turbo engine in the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA for even more power. It has 540 horsepower, which leads to an output of 187 PS/l.
To top off the high-performance specs of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA, 20" single nut alloy wheels were added. This is another step in removing weight, as the rims have single locking buts. It is exactly like the F1 single-seaters you see on race tracks.

An appearance to match the performance

A driving experience of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA is made better by the Alcantara material used to cover its interior. Alcantara is light and pleasant to touch, and it comes in a fetching anthracite grey.
The GTA logo is embroidered in red on the grey background, and contrasting stitching lines the seams of the fabric. The striking dragon and across the Alfa Romeo badge has the same branding on the hood.
The carbon shell Sparco seats complete the look of a race car on the inside. The outside is completed by Sauber aero kit side skirts.
