The 2023
Toyota
Sequoia received a significant upgrade from the model's former appearance. "Undeniable capability, unmistakable presence" is what the company wants you to remember about this upcoming vehicle.
It's made to greatly enhance your ride when you're enjoying long drives this summer (when the vehicle arrives) and every season thereafter.
The
Toyota tease
that the company gave previously was more than enough to get fans talking. The simple photo was plenty to get people interested in Toyota's newest release, and fans couldn't wait to get their hands on more details.

has more information about everything you need to know about the full-size SUV.

Why the name matches the car

The Sequoia tree is one of the largest in North America. That is far from the only reason the 2023 Toyota Sequoia matches this name well, though. Add in the fact that Sequoias are long-lasting and incredibly strong, and the name is definitely befitting of the vehicle.
The 2023 version has really upped its game and made the name fit even better. The power, performance, and increased towing capacity are just the beginning of what the SUV has to offer.

The specs and design of the 2023 Toyota Sequoia

Toyota
touts its newest vehicle as being "striking in design and comfortable in character." The third-row seating is worthwhile for large families fitting up to 8 people inside. With a max towing of 9,000 pounds, the 2023 Toyota Sequoia is also a great vehicle for hauling.
You're also getting tons of power thanks to the i-FORCE MAX powertrain. You'll experience efficiency on the road with 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque.
With a 10-speed automatic transmission in the mix as well, the newest Sequoia is built ready to perform to its maximum capabilities.
Technology is also ever-present in this newest model. Stick with an 8-inch touchscreen or opt for the larger 14-inch version that will increase your visibility. Your multimedia experience is made better with the option of touch or voice activation.
You can even turn your SUV into a hotspot thanks to the possible Wi-Fi Connect subscription. Five devices can connect with 4G at once. With Safety Sense also in the mix, you know your vehicle is safe, smart, and ready for action.

When should we expect the 2023 Toyota Sequoia and what will it cost?

So far, no official release date has been announced. It's simply been said that the 2023 Toyota Sequoia will arrive sometime during Summer 2022. Regardless, there's not much of a wait left with spring already underway. Be on the lookout for this brand-new vehicle with plenty of beauty and brawn.
Car and Driver
puts the starting price at $53,000. Of course, that price tag could increase rapidly once you make your personal selections.
The 2023 Toyota Sequoia comes in 5 grades. You can choose between the Capstone grade (which is entirely new to Sequoia), TRD Pro, Platinum, Limited, and SR5.
The SR5 with standard features puts you at the low end of the price tag, while the Capstone version is the most luxurious and most expensive. You'll be looking at more than $69,000 once all the bells and whistles are added.
