2023 Corvettes Are the Latest to See Price Jumps

The 2023 Chevy Corvette hasn’t been spared from the price increases seen across the car industry—but learn why customers may be inclined to pay extra, especially for the 70th anniversary edition that celebrates the rich history of America’s favorite sports car.

America’s leading sports car is receiving a
price increase
for 2023. While we aren’t necessarily surprised as other automakers have recently done the same, we are at least glad to see that the 2023 Chevy
Corvette
is receiving some upgrades and added options that make paying extra seem more worth it.
It’s not a bad time for Chevy to do so, either. 2023 marks the 70th anniversary of the Chevy Corvette’s release—70 years of burning rubber.

Why is the 2023 Chevy Corvette more expensive?

Inflation is partially to blame, first of all. The beleaguered car market has been struggling to lower prices for nearly two years now, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. So to justify their vehicle markups, carmakers from Land Rover to Kia (and now Chevy) are adding more trim options and other extras that might persuade customers to fork over the extra cash companies need to stay above their margins.
For the 2023 Chevy Corvette,
Car and Driver
reports that it will be receiving a $1,050 price bump for the base model 1LT, bringing the total MSRP for a plain-jane Stingray coupe to $63,195. Other higher-end models like the 2LT and 3LT haven’t had their pricing released yet.

What new trim options or extras does the 2023 Chevy Corvette offer?

The 2023 Chevy Corvette offers customers some new appealing options, which may help them forget about the extra grand that they’ll have to pay. The V8 sports car now has black tailpipe options, a new performance exhaust upgrade, 20-spoke rims in three color options (satin black, black with a red stripe, or polished silver), and a new Tech Bronze paint color, which is a dealership-exclusive add-on.
The interior remains pretty much the same compared to the 2022 model, other than an Adrenaline Red Dipped interior option: This is available in the 3LT only, and offers a dazzlingly pure red interior, from the dash to the seatbelts.

The Chevy Corvette’s 70th Anniversary

In celebration of America’s supercar, the 2023 Chevy Corvette will also offer a $5,995 70th Anniversary Edition package, which comes in an exclusive all black or all white paint job. The interior and exterior will also feature commemorative logos, as well as the hood and bumper, too.
For Corvette fans, the 70th anniversary edition might be the perfect way to cap off 70 years of American muscle. Just like when the 1953 model debuted, the Chevy Corvette continues to make waves among car fanatics, being both a beautiful and powerful vehicle.
