BMW
fans, this is really your year: BMW has redesigned the i7, both inside and out. Plus, they’ve also released an EV model, which is just the tip of the iceberg for
BMW’s plans for the future
. As one of the world’s most recognized and beloved luxury car brands, BMW continues to impress and innovate, and the 2023 i7 Series surely doesn’t disappoint.
While BMW certainly isn’t letting anyone down with their new i7 series, paying too much for your car insurance can be disappointing. Read on for an easy way to

below.

What’s new for the 2023 BMW i7?

For starters, the BMW i7 comes with Swarovski crystal headlights, as
Auto Timeless
reports. The rest of the car is just as nice, with cashmere seats and a new BMW Interaction Bar. The new bar extends across the entirety of the instrument panel and into the door panel trim, just to flex.
Instead of a manual A/C vent, the Interaction Bar uses touch controls control panels to adjust ventilation and climate control, and can even activate the vehicle’s hazard warning lights or open the glove compartment, too.
But a futuristic and luxurious interior isn’t the only thing that the 2023 BMW i7 has going for it. Underneath the hood lies a new ultra-efficient 3.0 inline-six, which pumps out 375-hp—40 more horsepower than the previous generation of i7s. The 740i starts at $94,295, (including destination fees), can do 0-to-60 mph in 5 seconds.

The BMW i7 xDrive and the i7 electric vehicle

The even beefier BMW 760i xDrive features a larger 4.4-liter turbo V8 that delivers 536 hp and can sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds. The BMW 760i xDrive starts at $114,595, including a $995 shipping charge. For $30,000 less, some drivers may opt for the lower trim option offered by the normal BMW i7, which is more fuel-efficient and nearly as fast.
But perhaps the most exciting (and highly anticipated) new model from BMW is their electric vehicle: the new all-electric i7 xDrive60. It has dual electric motors that put out 536 horsepower (same as the xDrive) and has up to 300 miles of range. The all-electric i7 xDrive60 starts at $120,295, and pre-ordering has just begun.

Why does BMW use the same frame for all three models?

Unlike
Tesla
or many other EV-devoted carmakers, BMW doesn’t have an electric vehicle-specific drivetrain. Instead, they use the same base chassis and drivetrain for all three i7 models, which makes it easier for the Bavarian automaker to develop hybrid and electric vehicle variants of the i7. This also means that many drivers won’t readily discern the difference between the electric vehicle version and the ICE version of the i7, other than a quieter and faster driving experience.
