What are the specs on the 2015 Mercedes C400?

This sporty-looking C400 is heavy, handles well, and rides like a cushy S-class, but is easy to zip in and out of parking spaces. Though boasting many luxe features of the S-class, this C-Class has decidedly less foot room in the back seat and a more basic rear seat overall. What other features does it have?

There were many options to upgrade. For $2,690, you could’ve equipped your C400 with a multimedia package including a navigation system, a bigger screen in the dash, and a rearview camera. The infotainment screen and touchpad called the COMAND system is by all accounts rather complicated, but it offers many features and high-quality graphics.

Add on another $2,800 and you could’ve gotten the Driver Assistance package with lane-keeping assistance and other safety features like radar-assisted cruise control. The AIRMATIC air suspension was also available for an additional $1,190 to get eco, comfort, sport, and sport plus “Agility” features.

So, while Car and Driver reports the Mercedes “looks racier in its AMG-inspired clothes than it feels,” the 2015 C400 embodies maximum luxury in a smaller vehicle.
