While the company is known for its friendly customer service and fuss-free claims processing, you may need to cancel Empower insurance if you're moving out of the Lone Star State or want to bundle with homeowner’s insurance

Cancel your Empower insurance policy with a real live agent when you call 1-877-431-5010. Press 3 to indicate you are an existing customer. Then, press 2 to be connected with a customer service representative.
Once you're connected, tell your representative that you wish to cancel Empower insurance. You will need to provide your policy number along with personal information like birth date and zip code to verify you are authorized to make coverage changes. The agent will then make the change to cancel your policy, and you are empowered to go on about your day.

. On the home page, hover your mouse over the Customers drop-down menu, then select the Manage Your Policy option. You could also just click the blue button for Manage Your Policy toward the bottom-left of your screen. If you already have an online account, enter your policy number and password to access your account. Otherwise, you need your policy number, zip code, and email address to set up a new account.
Once you're in your online account, select your policy type and scroll down until you see the option to change or cancel Empower insurance. Be sure to double-verify your selection to ensure the change is made.
Cancel Empower insurance through the mobile app
As Empower insurance has recently changed to Alinsco, you will either need to update your Empower mobile app or download the Alinsco app onto your Android or iPhone. Once you open the app, sign in with your username and password or sign up using your policy number and email.
On the home screen, select the Customer Service option with the icon of an individual wearing a headset. Then, choose to manage your policy and ultimately cancel Empower insurance. You will receive an email notification of that change when the process is complete.
Write down your policy number or have your ID card with you when you begin the Empower insurance cancellation process. That way, information like your account number and vehicle type is handy.
